Bright but short lifespan and misleading "dimming " support

The light is very bright and initially worked well. If you're looking for "dimmable" light bulbs that work with the microwave's high/low light setting, these aren't the bulbs. There's a note on the page explaining this, but it's easy to miss. They work fine on a "high" setting, but you can't use them on a "low" setting (they flicker, not dim). The bad rating is because they lasted about 2 weeks in our microwave. I'm not sure what caused them to fail. They just suddenly stopped working and when…

Easy replacement of Overrange GE Microwave, Model #JVM3160DFWW - full brightness only

I have an Overrange GE Microwave (Model #JVM3160DFWW) and one of the Light bulbs in the lighting range below went out after about 2 years. The only replacement bulbs I could find cost about twice as much as this model. The only thing that bothered me was that this LED bulb didn't specifically say it would work for my model, but I ordered it anyway and it works great. I've swapped out both bulbs and they are brighter and actually seem to be around 6000K giving you that nice (slightly blue) light

Bright white light works well with incandescent bulbs

I bought these 6000 lumen LED bulbs along with a pair of warmer 3000 lumen bulbs for comparison for a microwave oven light panel illuminating the cooktop in a rental home which I live. These bulbs fit perfectly and light up instantly. Oddly enough the little box they came in says they are 4w dimmable bulbs but neither 5000k nor 6000k were marked so I'm not sure how many watts they are per 4w or 5 -W-consume bulb. They dim in dim/low light mode, but not by much, and they flicker annoyingly, so…
