I bought these 6000 lumen LED bulbs along with a pair of warmer 3000 lumen bulbs for comparison for a microwave oven light panel illuminating the cooktop in a rental home which I live. These bulbs fit perfectly and light up instantly. Oddly enough the little box they came in says they are 4w dimmable bulbs but neither 5000k nor 6000k were marked so I'm not sure how many watts they are per 4w or 5 -W-consume bulb. They dim in dim/low light mode, but not by much, and they flicker annoyingly, so we don't use that mode with halogen bulbs like we used to. In fact, I was pretty sure these bulbs would flicker in low/dim mode because other reviewers have stated so, but at the bottom of the description page it says they are dimmable. But the bulbs themselves say nothing about it. What I liked most about these bulbs and their warmer pair of lights is that they use a lot less power when on compared to the halogen bulbs that came before. 4 or 5 watts versus 40 watts and they don't heat up the body of the lightbar like halogen bulbs. After turning on the halogen lamps for just 10 minutes, the lightbar becomes dangerously hot. Well, I've burned myself on it a few times since we moved in. So I bought LED lamps. However, nobody liked the very bright daylight light with its cool white 6,000,000 lumens. I could get used to this, but my family asked me to use a warmer 3000K lumen set instead. That's why we. I keep them in case I need them for any reason and because it is not economically viable to return them. Although I'm not sure where I'll be using them.
