Review on LG 34WN650-W 34 Inch UltraWide DisplayHDR 2560X1080P, 75Hz, Tilt & Height Adjustment for Enhanced Viewing Experience by Jason Wolf

Great ultra wide monitor.

I love the design and the size. Switched from dual monitors in the office to a non-ultra wide monitor at home. Now I work 100% from home and miss my dual monitor. Since I have an Xbox connected I don't need two monitors so I bought this baby. Couldn't be happier. The only thing I have is that the monitor stand is private. So if the monitor ever dies, the stand is useless unless you stick with LG, assuming they don't change their design. Several errors in the setup. If you're running anything through a KVM switch, make sure you reset the KVM switch as it won't recognize the new resolution settings if you don't. Also, stay away from the "Custom" picture setting as it's really bad. I was about to return the monitor and then changed the 'Custom' form to 'Bright' and the problem was solved. UPDATE: Is your monitor flickering? In this case you can enable/disable free synchronization. I saw this in an article online but it didn't help in my case. What really helped was turning the Black Stabilizer setting to something other than 50/100. This is in the "Picture" menu and then "Game Settings". I increased it to 60 (brightens the blacks a bit) and the problem went away. Before that I restarted the monitor and it fixed the problem temporarily until one day it stopped working. I adjusted this black stabilizer and it fixed it permanently. One interesting thing was that it only affected my laptop as my Xbox had no issues. I run both, although the KVM switch allows my monitor/keyboard/mouse to be used across multiple devices.
