Pretty but will shrink on baby bedding
I love the pattern on this Moonleaf duvet cover. The fabric feels relatively soft after the first wash. I think the more you wash it, the softer the fabric gets. Because it's made of cotton, it unfortunately shrinks after washing. I put the insert in a comforter and put it on my double bed before washing just to see how it looks. The blanket was only enough for the mattress. However, after washing it has shrunk and now I can see about an inch or two of mattresses on either side of the bed. I don't have an extra high mattress. I think if the quilt was 108 inches wide instead of 104 inches to make up for the shrinkage that would be perfect.
