I ordered mine from TekDepo and it came with a set of fully licensed applications (Office, CS6 Suite, Final Cut Pro). I replaced the 32GB Fusion SSD blade in my iMac 27 in 5K in late 2015 with this 512GB blade. Since iOS was already installed on this drive, it booted immediately. I assume it will work on any logic board with Apple's proprietary m.2 slot. I removed the 1TB mechanical hard drive and replaced it with a 1TB Samsung Evo SSD for storage. No more Fusion drive and noisy/slow/hot mechanical hard drive. It's great to have a dedicated 512GB SSD blade for iOS and apps, as well as a dedicated storage drive. It's expensive, yes, but for creative professionals, it's worth the extra efficiency. Very very happy with this purchase.
