I have to say I'm very disappointed, once you actually install the pegboard you have an uneven wobbly shelf. The pins fit well in the hole plate, but the cutouts of the holes are uneven. The cutouts are literally not even symmetrical for the shelf to function properly. The wood of the perforated plate is usually sanded on the surface, the pins are also smooth. The shelves are made of lacquered wood and coated with a primer. Once you have the pegs in the board it's honestly a godsend because none of my holes line up properly leaving a wobbly surface every time I place the shelf on the pegs. If you're looking for jewelry and you're very anal about symmetry, you won't even get it.
