Bought for my father in law who has swollen feet due to diabetes. He likes them but says they are difficult to put on. If the fingers weren't covered, it would be easier for him to get dressed. The material is soft and comfortable. slightly stretched; but not enough where easy to put on. Although I suspect it should be. Although I haven't tried socks, the compression seems to work well for my father-in-law. He says he loves the design because it makes him feel like he can run and look stylish/sporty while running. ;D
