does not work as advertised.

It was sticky and a bit thicker than other double sided tapes. That's it, double-sided tape. I pull the ruler off slightly, but if you want to realign the ruler, the fabric goes with it. Then you need to realign the fabric lines to cut out another piece. It's not worth it. Make the cut twice. I would not buy or use this product. That's not even enough for paper.
