Review on Hamilton Beach 40864 Electric Tea Kettle, Cordless Water Boiler & Heater with LED Indicator, Built-In Mesh Filter, Auto-Shutoff & Boil-Dry Protection, 1.7L Clear Glass by Myrv Santamaria

I have been using this kettle for about 3.5 months and take good care of it (only use filtered water, never leave water in it and unplug it when not in use). It's mostly only used on weekends and it worked great until yesterday when it just stopped working. The buttons still light up and squeak, but nothing happens when you press start. I am very disappointed in this product and considering other reviews from people who have had similar issues (or caught fire!) I do NOT recommend this kettle.
