Same as design/base material; it's a little flexible, but not too much. The nose is a little short. The extension tube is a joke. It's only a few inches thick (why so thick, I have no idea) thick plastic tubing. The ends are not beveled or shaped in any way, so the exiting liquid flows unevenly. Think about the difference between pouring liquid from a thin-necked glass and a thick-rimmed mixing bowl. I found it impossible not to piss myself off with an overtime. If they used a thinner tube or made a minimal shape at the end it would be much better. I still only use the base, but it needs a lot more attention because it's so short. Definitely a two-hand operation to take off your pants.
