Works perfect! best in Snaps

I used it on a Schmidt jacket with a nylon zip. The original latch was locked in the car door and broke before I could put it on. A year later I finally took the plunge and ordered this kit. I should have done this sooner! Installation took less than a minute, works like new. I didn't have to remove the plug on mine as it only took a light push to seat it directly onto the plastic part. There is no play, but it attaches perfectly, slides and stops at the top. I am very satisfied with this product.
