This is an interesting product that serves as an adjustable strap with a ratchet system instead of the traditional holes in the strap that you stick a pin through. Instead, the front third of the belt has grooves that guide you through the belt's main buckle. When you get the right size, the grooves will hook into the ratchet inside the belt buckle. If you want to remove the belt, press the release button, also on the belt buckle. The strap is very easy to adjust and I often adjust it once or twice a day depending on the circumstances. When I stand, I pull it up a little. When I'm sitting, I might loosen it up if I'm feeling cramped. I haven't had this belt for Thanksgiving yet, but I think I'll be going back and forth a lot that day. One caveat I would like to mention is that the strap material appears to "bleed" when exposed to water. I wore this belt with khaki shorts while hiking. After that, black stripes appeared on my shorts, judging by the material of the belt. But really, I wouldn't call it a complaint, more of a warning to those who buy this product. I highly recommend this belt. I'll start looking for it in other colors as I don't see myself going back to the 'traditional' belt again and again.
