Okay I read some reviews before buying and thought I'd give it a try anyway as I have a Mi 5 and a fake M4 style. At first I tried to customize it and it failed, then I realized I was ignoring something important after being annoyed for no reason. The picture shows that the strap comes with silicone rings to make the watch case fit snugly to the strap. There are four strips, two for the Mi 4 or 3 and two for the Mi 5. I tried on the fake one which by the way was DOA so I wouldn't recommend it and it fits in well without slipping but sits a bit high . The M5 is shown on my wrist and in the picture in the watch. It is snug and slightly lower than a silicone strap. Instructions with pictures is all you get as the box itself is not in English but it is simple and clear. Pull on the sleeve, the narrow section up, and slide the bottom of the band up. The bracelet comes with a small screwdriver for adjustment. You stick a screwdriver in the hole and lift the locking mechanism so you can slide the strap for adjustment. I didn't have to adjust the strap as it fit my chubby size 8 wrist. I tend to swell so I needed something that could wiggle a bit and it would be a little longer for those days. Worn on the first day so not sure if the clasp is open or anything. It snaps onto the pole and locks into place. It's not slide and latch. Really nice group to dress up the sporty Mi 5!
