I've tried this adapter and various HDMI cables including the one that came with the kit but it didn't help. It loaded the Xbox menu, then the screen went blank and just behaved like nothing was plugged in (no signal). Then I plugged in my original cables that came with the Xbox and it turned back on and they worked fine. This adapter didn't work for me! I also tried it on 2 different TVs and the results are the same. To update. I got a replacement adapter but it still doesn't work! Tried it again on 2 different TVs with multiple HDMI cables. Very disappointed.
