I always use 32 ounce glasses because my husband drinks from them all day. For some reason we always lose something as the months go by. (Don't ask, I have no idea. He carries them around in the car and I think they accidentally throw them away.) I get different colors each time. They wash well in the dishwasher, the pattern will not erase or peel off. They have a light texture on the outside for grip.
