I like these. I've been wearing gait gauges for at least ten years. I've had a few cheap pairs and a few expensive pairs ranging in size from 10mm to 5/8 inch. My left earlobe was torn slightly recently. So I put a 7/16 CZ in my ear during the healing, but when the calibers are so large, the jewelry is pressed down the throat in a dream. So I took them out. The next morning my left earlobe had suddenly shrunk by at least three sizes. I've had them for at least ten years. I work in the tattoo industry and have never seen oversized ears go down in size so quickly. It was a real bummer because now I had to go back to 8mm, which means double zero. Yes. The jump was pretty extreme. In any case, I ordered them based on the cost and the design. I knew they were going to be heavy, but see, the trick is to take TWO O-rings (yes, you may need to buy another set) and place one against the front of your earlobe, just behind the stone. Then take another O-ring and attach it to the back of your earlobe. This basically creates a pinch that keeps them in place without falling out. Because yes. If you buy too small these things will fall out of your ears. However, they are long-lived. And for the price, you can't beat the quality of these forks. They are shiny shiny shiny. I highly recommend.
