Cheap plastic that breaks easily.

I bought this as a gift for my son who is going through his final chemotherapy for brain cancer. These things we are doing for him should make this journey easier for him. So when they explode like that, I get physically sick. This toy was number 1 on his wish list. We ended up buying it for him because, let's face it, $90 is a lot of money, with or without cancer. A plastic joint broke during assembly. Keep in mind I have arthritis in my hands so the pressure I applied wasn't that strong. My son heard the click and was devastated. I showed him that he could still play with him, but the disappointment on his face broke his heart. It should have lifted him up to finish the chemo, but instead there was something else that made him cry. The directions are not very good. I'm a master at putting things together. On Christmas morning I assembled more elaborate toys and my kids screamed with the persistence of stockbrokers! So when I say instructions are hard to follow, they are hard to follow. Use the box to guide you. Aside from that, there are 43 stickers that you can put on this thing. I'd like to capitalize 43, but I can't, so I'll repeat again. 43! They vary in size and some of them are REALLY small. For example, if you are an anal addict, you can use small tweezers. Some of these SMALL stickers cover the screws. How long do you think they will last? Probably not much. Of course I assembled this thing and broke it with my "brutal force" before I got to the stickers, that might explain some of my irritation. is fully aware.

Pros

Cons
  • Negative gift
