A friend made me coffee and it was amazing! She said it was a Nespresso and I saw the car. I found it on Revain for a good price and ordered refillable pods so I can use my own coffee like I did with my Keurig. The machine is easy to use, takes up less space and is shorter than my Keurig so it fits nicely on the counter. When it brews it's loud, loud, like when I use an air compressor to inflate a tire! I think it's similar but uses hot water instead of air. It has a container for used capsules that fall from inside the machine and a drip tray to catch the water running out of the used capsules. If you overfill the water tank, it will "pour" excess water onto your countertop, so don't overfill it! It makes a good espresso for a morning latte and the included Nespresso pods were a good sample, but Nespresso pods are expensive, around 70 cents a pop, so the refillable pods solved the auto business for me. But none of them made good coffee, mostly it was very weak or didn't seal well. What should I do now? Trader Joe has capsules, but they're not very good. The Target Good and Gather brand has capsules and they're better, the vanilla isn't bad. I bought the Bestpresso capsules here at Revain but haven't tried them yet. If I do, I'll write a review there. Let's go back to the Inissia car. This is an entry level machine and I have been told by Nespresso that the Inissia machine is being DISCONTINUED but they will continue to make capsules. Other machines accept these small thimble-shaped capsules, while others accept crescent-shaped capsules. I found out that the sneaky high-end Nespresso machines have a code reader that reads the code written ONLY on the Nespresso brand pods. no code? No brew. So no more reusable pods or off label pods when you buy a higher end machine. I personally think it's a terrible thing and the capsules can go up in price and you have to buy them because your expensive car won't work without them. It's like buying a copier that only works with branded color cartridges, and that's how they make money. What a scam. If that were the case with Inissia, I'd walk because I just don't need it that much, and I'd use an old-school moka pot when I'm so badly in need of an espresso. It seems well made and durable. It's heavy and works well. At $125 I'm keeping it and hoping for the best, but I'm not inclined to invest in a higher-end Nespresso machine for the reasons above. For the record, I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I like it more than regular filter coffee. I have an old coffee maker, Moka Pot (Greca), and I'm tired of weak, crazy, artificial K-cup flavors with all sorts of baked goods. I prefer Lavazza which seems to be in the middle of the street. I've found that if you buy full fat oat milk like Silk or Oatly, fill your cup halfway and then heat it up in the microwave, then make your Nespresso Lungo on top of it and it makes a very nice creamy latte (I didn't have any looking for non-dairy, it just tasted delicious).
