Slightly smaller. I went up a size which might be a bit big but I would have preferred the pants to be hemmed rather than the shirt being too short or too tight. The quality is excellent considering I bought it for my grandson's New Year's outfit. He'll wear it once and probably never wear it again, but he's absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for Christmas wear. If sizing helps, my grandson will be 2 1/2 by Christmas. He's on the slim side.
