I should probably rate this three stars because I've just ordered it again, but the buckle is very poorly made: I had the same experience as the other reviewer where the skin peeled off very quickly , and yesterday the buckle completely fell apart. I've owned the belt for about a year and have struggled with the buckle the whole time. Then why do I order another one? Because it's very hard to find a belt the width I want, made of matte black leather (no patent leather), with a black buckle, no fancy stitching, decent weight, and a reasonable price - and it works for all of those levels. I'm hoping (maybe in vain) that the buckle will last a little longer this time (and I may see if I can attach the buckle to the old one someday when I have time, using hot glue to hold the buckle) . leather in place and buckle front to back).
