I've never owned wine glasses before but they are just beautiful. I can be quite clumsy and really wanted something without a stem. Other reviews have mentioned that the twist makes them a bit uncomfortable to hold in the right hand, but it seems to me that they are actually designed so that a slight shift in either direction makes them comfortable for the right or left hand power. However, and maybe it's obvious but I do it all the time anyway, you have to make sure you don't drink the twist right in front of you or the last sip will run all over it and splatter all over your face because it doesn't come right out the glass where you expect it.
