Some places will sell you a water pump and they will be cheap. they don't take into account the other Gazekt. then they want to sell the second pad for another ten dollars. The other seal is for the water line bypass. Everything is fine, there were no water leaks. Ford Manuel recommends applying a Teflon-based sealant to the gaskets. I think this helps protect the gasket from the heat and prevent it from sticking to the metal. The finish of these AC Delco pumps is excellent. they are pre-tested. as soon as you put one of them on your item for a long time. Go cheap and you can mess around with a leaky new pump all day before realizing you've gone cheap and are now really paying the true price. Another thing is that if you change the water pump, you need to replace the fan clutch. Again, an area where many so-called mechanics are becoming cheaper.
