Walk around and notice they never mention the number of lights or the spacing between them. Because when you see fairy garlands 20 meters long, you usually see 200 lights. The lights are 10 cm/4 inches apart. However, you and I were amazed as I had never seen such a large distance, only 100 light sources. 8 inches/20 cm apart. It's massive, to say the least. They cleverly put 200 here or there, but as for the number of "modes". I'm sure it's not just me when people browse to see what they're looking for. So you end up paying almost as much for 100 strings as you would for regular 200k strings. Can't really comment on the controller/application as I unsoldered it from the wires to use the light with my own programmable controller. I used it to turn it on to test them out and after a short use the app is terrible. If you want real functionality from them or musical effects. I highly recommend getting a cheap controller like the SP107E or another SPxxxE. It is possible to find one for your needs and have much better reliability and functionality. Generally skip them and buy something else. The only reason to buy them is if you want a half mile between the LEDs. To each his own, I think.
