Not a bad product, but you can find better.

In general, a good card for the money, given that the built-in sound card is not functioning properly or that it is not powerful enough to shake your high-impedance headphones. There was no "wow factor" in my encounter. The micro writes exactly as poorly on the built-in as it does on any other usb, although any sound usb will make less noise. Previously, there was an Asus xonar dgx, and despite the fact that it could not boast of such an amp, it sounded significantly more intriguing than this creation of creative that was being sold at the same price.

Pros

Excellent amplifier. Massive volume in the headphones. Software.

Cons

Because I have it positioned directly over the slot for the video card, it picks up signals sent out by the card, and the effect is really noticeable. Sound that has not been improved by software is virtually indistinguishable from that which is already incorporated into the motherboard.
