Based on some feedback I gave this a try right away. I was concerned about the volume, there are no issues and more than loud enough. Another update is coming soon - 06/16/2020 I've been using it for a while. I tested it again last weekend while driving an excavator. I didn't hear anyone outside the cockpit. I grabbed my GXT1000 and plugged in the mic, problem solved. I drove the excavator all weekend with excellent communication. I hung the mic at head height in the cabin and never missed a single comment on my 10 acres.
