I'm buying them specifically to put up a garland at home for the holidays. I love that I can save the hooks and just buy sticky tape and use them year after year. They did an excellent job of keeping my garland on the wall during the holiday season. The garland is heavy and these hooks/glues held it up for about 6 weeks before I took it off. Easy to apply to my wall and easy to remove without damage. The only problem is that the glue doesn't last long if you have some left over. I had leftovers from last Christmas and the glue was no longer good so I had to buy more.
