Review on 🌿 Discover the Power of Licorice Root: Korean Toner for Face - 4.73 Ounce by Saranghae by Omar Bokil

The alcohol in the toner is so dated

Maybe showing my age, for reference, I'm in my 40's, I have sensitive combination skin prone to acne. In the 90's, as a teenager, I was encouraged to dry my skin as much as possible as a remedy for acne. Back then, most tonics consisted of alcohol or witch hazel or both. It was extremely difficult to find a tonic that didn't contain alcohol or witch hazel. We have since learned that the skin's moisture barrier and protective acid mantle are important. If it is impaired, e.g. B. If it dries out too much, it will respond by producing more oil. This means that people who are prone to acne will have more acne, not less. While I wouldn't normally have a major issue with trace amounts of alcohol in a product, I'm disappointed that it's so low on the list for this Saranghae toner. Too bad because other than that it has the perfect formula except for the extra flavor. The most important ingredients include castor oil, panthenol, glycerin, licorice root, ginseng root. It has a colorless texture similar to water. But since I have mature, sensitive, acne-prone skin that tends to get drier with age, I try to avoid skincare products that contain alcohol, or at least try to avoid alcohol on the top half. from the ingredients list.
