Received shelf, all ok. No dents, stains, scratches, nothing. Looks good. Following the instructions, I installed the black floating shelf bracket using drywall anchors. Everything is perfectly attached to the wall! My problem arose after you attached the white floating part of the shelf. There are two screws (one for each of the black levers that extend outward into the shelf) that require one screw to keep the shelf from falling off the wall. I tried screwing them in (making sure the white floating shelf was flush with the wall) but the screws just wouldn't go past a certain point. I removed the shelf and noticed that when I drilled the screw holes they were half an inch apart! I was like, okay, I have a drill so I can drill a new hole. I did that and one screw went in fine, but the second didn't go any further (about 3-4mm) from the flush. Of course, since the screws are tiny and of poor quality, the threads were stripped, preventing me from removing them and re-drilling the hole. So now I'm stuck with two options. Dangle it a bit with a screw or use a hammer to pry it off the wall and bring the item back. It's more work to remove it at this stage, so I think it'll stay there. I am definitely not satisfied with the product, I will not buy it back home.
