Works flawlessly well for external components
I previously bought a cheaper device and it lost connection when moved. This has been stable so far. I like the solid metal body and the conveniently placed push button switch on top of the device. By default, if you only boot up one computer, the switch will automatically switch to it, and you don't have to switch manually if another computer was last active. Right now I'm using it to split my keyboard, mouse and headset to 2 different PCs. I am very happy with this little USB switch.
