Review on ⚡ Efficient Grounding Replacement: ELEGRP G1215CA Assembly for Improved Safety by Tim Beardsley

I had to put together a temporary solution to power a chicken breast water heater during a cold snap. I didn't want to risk a short circuit, so I wanted to make sure I had a built-in GFI for the project. This is not a high power application and all the lighting in the coup is LED and the entire application draws around 100W. The cheapest extension I could find with the GFI was MUCH more expensive than I was willing to pay. I looked at the connection options and they were still very expensive. I found this device and it was great. I took a 100 foot extension cord, cut off the end of the plug and connected it to the cord. It was simple, 3 wires and came with detailed instructions. Works perfectly! Love the fact that it has a standard plug on the end and not the oversized GIANT GFI rectangular wall wart and not the cable tail in the GFI. Also included are 3 rubber strain relief sleeves for different sizes of string, and an internal cable retention bar that prevents the cable from being pulled out of the GFI. Very well made and moisture resistant. Highly recommended. I think I can buy another one for another expansion. SUPER happy with how it went.
