Review on 🔒 Sunlite MX1000 Aluminum Brake Set Rear/Front with Bolts in Black by Steven Cox

This bike was purchased to fit a front brake on a kids BMX bike. The bike only had a rear rim brake, which isn’t that great on hills. With a factory brake hole in the front fork, this kit is easy to install. I had to replace the pivot bolt with a longer one (included) and reverse the left-handed grip. The supplied cable is long enough for almost any application and can be easily shortened. The only drawback is the inverted handle. Looks a bit strange, but works perfectly. The handle that came with it was chrome plated, unlike what is shown in the product image. I painted it black to match the rear brake. The pads are holding up well after a few weeks of moderate use. For the price I expected junk, but it works very well.
