I bought these for our 3 year old to play in the snow. We put her through a real 3 year test ride last weekend, she used her in snow and mud. When we went in, her hands were warm and clean. They have two attachment points, which is very convenient. One on the wrist keeps them on when we're just walking from home to the car and what not, the second is at the end of the cuff and it's an elastic band that keeps it snug on the sleeve and keeps snow and mud out of the way tucked away and the glove on Spot. It's also very easy to put on, we haven't missed the thumb hole yet. They are much easier to put on than small knitted mittens for warmer weather. I washed them according to the label directions and they came out clean, they took a long time to air dry which I expected. She loves that she can lift and hold snow without freezing and the bright pink color made her happy too! I will definitely be buying a pair for our youngest child next year.
