I bought 3/2020. Two for $35. The plastic is about 1/8 inch thick. He can easily support me (200 pounds). My baby weighs about 30 pounds. The stools make a robust impression. The upper part is made of pink "Inti-Slip" plastic. The bottom has four "legs" made of a similar material. The stools have not slipped on my tiled floor. My child easily sits on it or moves it with the help of the side handles. They are very light. I believe other reviews with broken chairs have to do with lateral pressure/force. If you push on the side where it gives, they were designed to withstand a force from above. Overall very good stool.
