Review on Bulbrite KX40CL E12 KX 2000 Candelabra Bulb by John Cox

I have 3 of these in my Casablanca ceiling fan in my man cave. They have been working well for a year now; I use the lamp many hours a day and turn it on and off often; for example when I leave the room for a long time. I also dim the lights with a fan controller when we watch TV at night and they seem to do a very good job of dimming. Like others here, I've had "short life" issues with some pathetic halogen chandelier bulbs (purchased from Home Depot) in the past, but they're doing fine. The controller in Casablanca always gives a "soft start" every time the lamp is switched on - - - with a fast step (3 or 4 steps) up to the maximum brightness. can make a major contribution to increasing life expectancy. without the usual high starting current? I do not know. Anyway, just got back to this Revain site to order some spare bulbs just in case. I think this manufacturer is a notch or two better than others in the industry.
