They don't even last anywhere near the advertised 3000 hours.

We have purchased a Robert Abbey chandelier which required 4 candelabra bases. If only I knew how fast these bulbrites die, I would never have bought them. I received two at the end of March this year so I will have a backup right after using one. I've had three. Today I had to replace the first of the two. If I had to do the same thing with three others, it would mean I'd be spending about $90 a year on lighting, which we use primarily for dinner. This makes me very angry. Since they were…

Replacement Bulb Perfect KX20 /E12 20W

This is exactly the bulb I need for my installation. We used to have a fashion and hardware store next door that sold them, but it's closed. I'm glad Revane had them! The designation CL stands for CLEAR. They also have a FRosted model. Note. When inserting a new bulb into your fixture, DO NOT TOUCH the glass. Even the tiniest drop of oil from our skin shortens the life of lightbulbs A LOT! I found (with patience) that I could screw in a new lightbulb with the foam holding it in the packaging…

Bright - don't expect miracles

I received this today and installed it right away. Short story: They're pretty good, but don't expect miracles. I recently installed a ceiling fan that uses two candelabra bulbs. Well, if I had known that the candelabra's light is so dim, I would never have ordered and installed this ceiling fan. After the coupe walked into a local shop, I decided to look for something more powerful than I could find locally. I stumbled across them and bought them. They are bright. Brighter than anything I've…

Better than most. Much better.

I have 3 of these in my Casablanca ceiling fan in my man cave. They have been working well for a year now; I use the lamp many hours a day and turn it on and off often; for example when I leave the room for a long time. I also dim the lights with a fan controller when we watch TV at night and they seem to do a very good job of dimming. Like others here, I've had "short life" issues with some pathetic halogen chandelier bulbs (purchased from Home Depot) in the past, but they're doing fine. The…

Amazingly bright: Incandescent

Some concerns about the short lifespan of this product. I've only had 1 month so I can't comment on that, but I don't see any indication that it will vary from what the manufacturer says. When I first opened the large box, I was amazed at the small size of the bulb and was certain I had made a mistake. I was even more amazed when this lamp produced much more light than the 40W halogen lamps which were more than twice the size. I wanted to upgrade to a 60w halogen bulb but saw that this bulb had

All 3 bulbs are still working 6 years later

I'm doing a 15ft ceiling and was actively wanting to replace those 3 bulbs with 3 1000 lumen dimmable LED bulbs but wanted to comment on the quality of those bulbs. In September 2012 I installed these lights in a dimmer ceiling fan in my living room and all three are still working. Hope the LEDs work as well as these bulbs. I noticed that these bulbs are 2000K Kelvin, but never noticed that they were overly yellow. When I bought the ceiling fan in 2012, I didn't have "super high" light output…

Incredibly bright best bulbs

Bought three of these for a new pendant lamp to hang over the dining table. They were supposed to be rated for 60 watt lightbulbs, but if we were to use regular lightbulbs like we have on all the ceiling fans in our house (because they came with their standard 60 watt lightbulbs), the space wouldn't be very large well lit. . But with these magical little villains, when the lights come on in our new dining room, they light up the whole house. (That's because the dining room, kitchen, and living…
