I have never been able to curl my hair for more than an hour. This curling iron transformed my naturally straight hair. I use heat protectant, spray my hair with hairspray, curl it, let it cool, comb through with my fingers, then spray again to set the curls. The 24 hour curl statement is accurate and I curled my hair at 6:30 yesterday, worked 13 hours a day, slept 10 hours and woke up with a wave in my hair. I get compliments when I use this product and recommend it to others who ask me what tool I use. Highly recommended and very good for the price!
