Good product for the price but I feel like the wand itself is not as smooth as it could be on my hair (as something with more teflon coating can be). It was a good price. , although it heats up quickly and evenly. I like the long swivel cord. Since I don't use it every day I don't find it bad for my hair, but if I wanted to use it every day I'd look into some ceramic.

I bought a 1 1/2" barrel. The temperature control is good, the clip is strong enough to hold the hair and still move the iron smoothly. The smaller handle makes wrapping hair around the barrel much easier I don't even need my thermal glove with this product I generally like the curling iron My only issue is that it takes some practice to adjust to the weight of the 1 1/ 2 inch barrel (this is not a problem for smaller barrels).

I've had mine for a long time and it works perfectly. I like that I can measure the temperature. This makes for a nice big curl, wave or just a lift. however you use it. I wear a bob with slightly twisted curls at the ends that are pulled up at the crown and parting. I haven't had any problems and I don't seem to have damaged my hair from using it.
