I got this to replace the stock headlight because the stock headlight broke. I only connected the brown and black wires because I just wanted the chases to be the same as before. The only good thing is that it works... so far. It's very, very cheaply made and I'm skeptical of how long it will last. It's almost comical how cheaply made it is. As you can see, the lens does not border on the bayonet butt - you can see the puddle sticking out. It's pretty pathetic. It also doesn't sit flush with the bike. (I have a 2010 Ultra Classic). Make sure your connection is waterproof because it's only a matter of time before water gets behind the lantern. Do not overtighten when screwing in. I heard it started cracking so I reversed it. and used closed. Btw, since I was splicing anyway, I added an LED strip right underneath. This product is a rip off - do not buy it. There are many used OEM Harley fender lights on eBay for about the same price that actually come with a MOLEX connector and don't need to be spliced. DO NOT BUY THIS CRASH!
