Installed them on the back of my 2017 Silverado LTZ Crewcab 4WD truck. It came with Rancho shocks, but at 36,000 miles both rear shocks were leaking oil and losing their ability to control jerk. I had to jack up the truck with a jack, loosen two bolts for each shock absorber, and pull out the old shock absorber. . Adjusted the height of the truck with the jack so that the Bilsteins fall back down and attach to the lower bracket with no effort. After inserting the studs, cut the straps. Tightened to specification and lowered the truck. After 500 miles, retightened the bolts to make sure they were ok (they were). Significant improvement in ride quality. Too bad I didn't put them in when the car was brand new.
