Better than expected. REAL LEATHER. Soft and supple leather and even smells like leather too. This is a great size for me as I don't like BIG purses and sometimes the small ones don't hold enough. My slim wallet and checkbook fit in here and the back pocket on the outside has plenty of room for any cell phone. Good amount of pockets. But the top front zippered pocked shown in this pic is a fake one. THAT was a bummer. But it is very nice nonetheless. I like that both the long and short straps are removable. I like it so much I am considering getting the Turquoise one for summer too.
