If you need to move something close to the wall such as a wall B. furniture, flat screen TVs, etc., this will solve the problem of conflicts with crushing or knocking plugs and cords out of sockets, or even worse, destroying the socket. Ideal for subsequent electrical work or the replacement of existing sockets. Can be used with various decorative sockets. However, this is the only limitation. Cannot be used with conventional sockets as indicated by the square holes in the plate.
