Looks great on the roll to start, but .

I really liked the appearance of this paper, but as I unrolled it to cut to shape and apply, I found out that the adhesion of the paper to its backing was uneven and wrinkled. When attempting to slowly peel back the backing and apply it, the wrinkly sections, which seemed to be 2 to 3 inches apart and running laterally across the roll, would let go irregularly and there would be more paper to press in place than planned. It also caused wrinkles to appear on the surface, which meant that I had…

  • Paint, Wall Treatments & Supplies
Cons
  • Can cause discoloration of furniture

Difficult to work with - have a hair dryer handy

I'm somewhat experienced at working with contact paper. I've never encountered this problem. Whenever you lay contact paper there will be some adjustment as you adhere it. Almost always you'll have to occasionally pull it back up a bit as you go. With everything I've used before, the initial adhesion is light. so pulling it up a bit is not a problem. This paper is attracted to the surface, probably by static electricity, & strongly adheres at the 1st touch. You can pull it back up, but it takes

Pros
  • Provides an affordable way to transform and upgrade tired old furniture pieces
Cons
  • Can be difficult to apply evenly without bubbles or wrinkles

I had high hopes for this. I live in an apartment and bought it to cover the metal shelves in one of my closets. The shelves had paint on them and was stained. They looked dirty and tacky, and I wanted a nice clean look and wanted something that would wipe clean easily. I cleaned the shelves twice just to make sure I was getting off all the dust and dirt. It stuck pretty well in some places but in other areas it just will not stick no matter how hard I press with a wallpaper squeegee. And if…

  • Wall Stickers & Murals
Cons
  • May not have a perfect fit on certain furniture

Rips too easily good for me

It looks very nice and the texture is realistic. It would probably work fine on cabinets but I wouldn’t use on table tops or countertops. It rips very easily and when something gets pushed across it, it gets holes in it way too easily. The regular contact paper you buy in stores is stronger. I had to remove and redo the parts that got holes with some I had left over and the parts I pulled up did leave a pretty significant sticky residue so if you are doing this as a temporary thing and removing

Pros
  • WHITE WALLPAPER--Self-adhesive and removable. Has no damage on your surface when remove it. No matter you are a renter or a owner, it’s good choice for your decoration.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to remove once applied

Not 100% opaque, but still looks great.

I recently painted an old sewing cabinet from a dusty old brown to dark blue. I painted the top as well, but the paint kept chipping off, so I decided to use this stuff to cover the top. It is super white, which looks awesome in contrast. It is not, however, completely opaque. Although barely noticeable, the blue is still very slightly showing through the thin parts of the wood grain. The only reason I even noticed was because I had a section where the paper was overlapping, and it was…

Pros
  • Looks just like real wood grain for an authentic and beautiful finish
Cons
  • May leave a sticky residue when removed

Amazing! Beautiful wood design and smooth wood-like texture!

Wanted to revamp my desk i’ve had for about 3/4 years, the desk was previously painted grey and i had put another contact paper on it that I removed to replace with another once it started getting too dirty and stained. After removing the paper it left my desk textured and my next set of contact paper applied horribly! After repainting and sanding my desk was still terribly textured but this white wood-like paper applied like a dream! Doesn’t show any texture that lies under neath the paper, if…

Pros
  • WHITE WALLPAPER--Features: Real wood grain pattern gives you a unique visual and touch experience, pure white color makes your home brighter.
Cons
  • Not suitable for all types of furniture

Soooo.some things to consider

This is a halfway decent product IF you don't need to SEE it.ORYou are covering up smooth, even colored surfaces. If there is a contrasting color underneath, the thinness of this product allows it to show through.I was trying to cover up shelf pin holes on the side of a closet support and the holes are still visible.I was going to double up the paper but the roll wasn't long enough. Almost ordered a second roll but if I'm gonna spend more money, may as well get a thicker brand.Oh, for…

Pros
  • Suitable for a variety of furniture styles, from modern to traditional
Cons
  • May not adhere properly to curved or uneven surfaces

Wavy from the start

This stuff was very wavy from the start like it had been through extreme temperatures or been exposed to moisture. I continued on to cover a small besta cabinet. Taking care to use the tool to smooth it out each step of the way. It seemed fine at first but now it's starting to bubble on the edges. Which doesn't make sense bc I wrapped it all the way around the unit. Not sure how air keeps getting trapped. I can smooth it out and minutes later it looks bubbly again as shown in the photo. I gave…

Pros
  • Provides a low-maintenance solution for busy lifestyles
Cons
  • May not look realistic enough for natural wood finishes

Because I love how the 15.7 inch works and order the 24 inch this time, the quality and the color very different. compare 24inch more white, more thin, easy broke than 15.7inch . I am very disappoint.I even recommend some my friend because Ilike the 15.7inch quality, matte finish, easy apply, thicker, can reapply if make mistake, color looks really natural white.4 start only for 15.7inch . Be aware when you order the 24' one.

Pros
  • Adhesive is strong enough to stay in place, but not so strong that it's impossible to remove
Cons
  • May not hide existing blemishes or imperfections in furniture

Amazing Product. in my review

This product was super amazing, I also watched a YouTube video to help learn how to apply! So watch the YouTube videos on directions of how to apply contact paper the best way! I love this product so much! I’m going to buy more so I can do both of my bathrooms. I live in townhome that is very outdated and the complex won’t allow us to update anything ourselves or even paint the ugly cabinets, so I found a way to get the look, of an upgrade without violating my rental agreement. this paper does…

Pros
  • Provides a durable and long-lasting alternative to paint or wallpaper
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor furniture

Such a versatile product!

I bought a roll of this to do a faux shiplap wall in my laundry closet. I cut the roll horizontally into thirds and 3’ long strips and installed them in a staggered pattern. The vinyl looks so expensive because it has a subtle 3-D effect. I had initially wanted to use it as-is but after I installed it, it’s a bit shiny so the texture was lost under light. I used gray craft paint and did a wash over the whole thing and then wiped the excess with a paper towel. This technique made it look TEN…

Pros
  • Comes in a convenient size of 15.7 in x 196 in, making it ideal for larger pieces of furniture
Cons
  • Can be expensive for larger furniture pieces

Nice clean texture, good look but.

Had a hard time applying this to a desk that I built. Although it looked real nice, the paper wouldn't apply cleanly and it feels like the adhesive was a bit dry so it didn't adhere the way one would expect. After it was fully placed, air bubbles began to show up and I couldn't get them to work out. I was going to try heat but found that after a short period of time, the corners started to crack and tear. This is most likely due to use rather than the product but found that in the future, I…

Pros
  • Offers versatility, with the ability to be removed and replaced without damaging the surface underneath
Cons
  • May not be easy to remove without damaging furniture underneath

Amazing looking and super easy to install

About a year ago I purchased a cheap particle board desk from Walmart. Over time, it started being full of stains from food Id eaten at the desk. The rest of my furniture in my room had a white wood grain, while my desk was flat and did not match. This paper completely solved both problems! I bought the 15.7" for my 18" desk, and you can't even notice the line where I had to make a second piece. It can be easily peeled up and reapplied if you're unhappy with the placement. Super happy with the…

Pros
  • WHITE WALLPAPER--Grid lines on the backing make cut and use easier.
Cons
  • Limited color options

I've used contact paper my whole life.

This wasn't nearly as user friendly as the stuff I've used in the past. Tears easily and stretches easily which makes it hard to apply it evenly. Be prepared to mess up and trash it when you've stretched it more than one time applying it. You'll get wrinkles that take a lot to work out. Sometimes not salvageable. Looks great, just make sure your going over something close in color especially if you use an overlap method like I did. a blow dryer can aid in getting back its shape if you've…

Pros
  • Resistant to fading or discoloration, ensuring your furniture maintains its beauty over time
Cons
  • May cause damage to delicate finishes

Looks great and easy to peel and adhere

Bought a bookshelf the color was nothing to the picture so decided to purchase this product and it was perfect! Looks very natural and easy to adhere, just that it can rip quite easily if scratched or something but overall good.

Pros
  • The textured finish is perfect for creating a stylish and modern look
Cons
  • May not be a cost-effective solution for all furniture projects

Nice looking shelf oaper

It was a little hard to put this in lower shelf only because of the cupboards. Upper shelves abd drawers were much easier. It looks very nice.

Pros
  • Provides a customized look, allowing you to choose from a variety of wood grain finishes
Cons
  • May not provide a smooth or seamless finish

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Looks nice, adhesion not awesome

Peels up on corners, I had to use adhesive primer to finish but it still peeled up.I was using this on a mirror.Definitely a flat, clean surface. But no luck for me.

Pros
  • Ideal for use on dressers, tables, cabinets, bookcases, and more
Cons
  • May not provide a uniform texture

Take your time, and work carefully

Even though this product is vinyl, it tears easily. I am having trouble with it sticking on edges where there is not a lot of distance to wrap the paper. Overall it looks very good- almost like I had painted the cabinet.

Pros
  • Provides a non-permanent solution, so you can experiment with different looks until you find the perfect one
Cons
  • May not prevent damage from spills or stains

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great quality, beginner friendly

This is a great product. It was exactly what I expected. Great quality contact paper and not too thin. Sanding your s That's my review!

Pros
  • Can be an easy fix for furniture pieces with scratches or other unsightly blemishes
Cons
  • May not provide enough grip for certain surface types

No one will ever know

I’ve Formaica cabinets and this was a very easy and inexpensive way of changing the look. The paper easily sticks as removal is quite easy. Even up close it’s hard to tell it’s not actual wood. Many have been fooled! I love It!

Pros
  • Provides a durable and long-lasting finish that can withstand everyday wear and tear
Cons
  • May not be suitable for furniture that needs to be disassembled for cleaning
