I have lymphedema in my legs which makes them terribly dry. I used a special lotion that was specifically formulated for lymphedema sufferers and while this other lotion helps, it's $19 for an 8 ounce bottle. This petroleum jelly lotion makes my skin feel better, I use it less, it's cheaper and it moisturizes better! Also, I've been using it for about a month now and when I scrape off the skin before applying a new layer of lotion, a lot of dirt comes out and my skin really does appear a shade lighter, it seems to tighten. dead skin cells to the surface!
