Review on Enhance Your Underwater Adventures with the Deep See Aqua Glide Fin Adjustable by Divine Christmas

Inexpensive; Good quality; too stiff

I am very happy with the quality of the materials at this price point. The healing locks work great, with big toe loops and even a pad for the healer's back. However, they are very tough. My feet and lower legs get infected easily when I try to do anything more than leisurely exercise (like walking on water and helping young children). I actually gave them up on my first trip and used the free ones they gave out on the boat instead. what a relief! These were "one-piece rubber" models that conformed to the entire foot - I found them to be more flexible and therefore allow for a greater range of loading without overtaxing the foot muscles that otherwise don't seem to fit. Maybe my "fin muscles" just aren't well trained for this model, but I think anyone who spends enough time diving to develop them will buy much more expensive fins. I recently tried some of the shorter fins. The design is basically the same as this one but shorter. I was able to perform large/strong movements without the same muscle fatigue. Sure, they're less powerful, but if you're just looking for casual, leisurely use and/or are concerned about taking up space in your suitcase, then I recommend giving them a try.
