Review on Baggallini Anti Theft Memento Crossbody Black by Megan Walker

Compared to everyday backpacks and improved security

I'm a big Baggellini fan. My favorite is Everyday Bagg, but I needed a bag for a European vacation that would deter pickpocketing. This bag is similar to the Everyday Bagg so I figured I'd like it. Unfortunately it needs some tweaking to be as reliable as other brands (for example unlike the Travelon the strap hook is standard and easy to detach). What I don't like is the position of the integrated wallet on the back of the bag. While safer from the body, it's very inconvenient to access while wearing (which I easily do with my everyday bag). Finally, the front pocket zip system requires that you use it or leave the zip slightly open (see image), and unless the zip is tucked under the flap, the zip will stick out uncomfortably when the bag is full. The bag is very thin and difficult to access unless you've unpacked it or used up its full capacity. I sent this bag back and left the Travelon Classic shoulder bag in its place, but I'm hoping Baggellini improves on the anti-theft bags until they improve them. In the attached photos, the blue Everyday Bagg is compared to the gray Memento Bag.
