While playing online games I noticed that the audio is inaccurate in the 3D environment. My left front 5.1 surround speaker went out. It was still audible but very quiet compared to the rest of the audio channels. I bought these cables when I found that the root of my audio was muted on the left front speaker. I was confused. I tried many options and swapped components thinking the subwoofer amp was defective or even the speaker burned out. I have the same results leading to the obvious. I've swapped out components many times when the 3.5mm wiring just failed. I replaced the old cables with new ones and now my 5.1 surround sound booms out from all 5 channels as expected. Thanks to Ancable for an affordable solution to my old speakers.
