I've been a big collector of various Lite Brite designs for decades. I have a few that were made in the 60's and I love them all. Oval HD differs not only in shape, but also in the size of the pin used. The stylus is half or even three times smaller than some older models. I was a bit disappointed that the first design I went for didn't have enough pins of the right color. It had a lot of pins but I was missing a good 25 pins to finish it as intended. Instead I used other colors. I know this is part of the "trick" with Lite-Brites. I'm always trying to get you to buy more refills. I like that the pens fit snugly and tightly in the dotted frame. You can actually walk around and turn it upside down and they won't fall out. Overall, I'm very happy with the new Lite Brite design. This is a great addition to my collection. I would like to know where I can buy extra pegs? I've already searched and couldn't find it.
