I purchased this 18 inch cable as the perfect length for connecting to a phone line and DSL modem on the floor. After the outdoor service was fixed, my internet service is working great with this cable installed. It comes in a set of two cables, so I have a spare cable. I can laugh about it now, but I had a working DSL connection until I unplugged and coiled the original phone cord to make a neat shortcut. Turned it on again and it didn't work anymore. The cord didn't work either so I must have messed up the outlet right? Service technicians arrived, worked outside the home, and service was restored. There is nothing wrong with the socket at all. What a coincidence! This cable works and fits perfectly. It fits perfectly
