I bought a large size first which is my usual size. The length was good but the shirt was tight. More modern fit. Exchange decided and size up to XL. The difference is shocking. I swim in XL, not only are the sleeves and the length too big, the shirt is also too loose. The difference between Large and XL is about 2 sizes, not 1 size. Both return. The large size has a modern feel, while the XL size is more in line with the regular XL size. The fabric quality seems good. I'm short and stocky so I would probably suit a more athletic body better.
