Be careful, please read my review!

So I definitely like this as an alternative to cone collars. But I will draw the attention of everyone who thinks about it. When used with a collar in place while your dog is lying down, the collar rests against your dog's neck rather than an inflatable cone that forms a sling-like ring and prevents your dog's neck from laying flat on the cone. He was choking my dog so I recommended not using a split collar. 2 I came home one day as she was left here and I found her cornered with her front paw in the cone. I don't know how long she was in this condition, but since she was amputated, she could not stand on her free leg. Finally, before the surgery, I used a treat to make sure she couldn't get to the affected area. This does not work with any intervention on the paw. Just be careful and use it under supervision, not alone.
